CaseReach ("we," "us," or "our") operates an AI-powered client intake and case management platform for law firms. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information submitted through our platform.
1. Information we collect
When a prospective client completes an intake session on a law firm's CaseReach-powered page, they may provide the following information:
- Name, phone number, and email address
- Description of their legal matter, including dates, locations, and facts
- Jurisdiction and case type
This information is collected on behalf of the law firm using our platform. CaseReach acts as a data processor; the law firm is the data controller responsible for how client information is used.
2. How we use information
Information submitted during intake is used solely to:
- Generate a structured lead brief delivered to the law firm attorney
- Send an automated confirmation email to the prospective client
- Store case data in the law firm's secure attorney portal
We do not sell, rent, or share client intake information with any third party for marketing or any other purpose.
3. AI processing
Intake conversations are processed by the Anthropic Claude API to generate responses and case summaries. Anthropic's API is used under a zero data retention configuration. Conversation content is not used to train AI models. You can review Anthropic's privacy practices at anthropic.com/privacy.
4. Data storage
Structured case data — including client name, contact information, case type, and summary — is stored in a secure database hosted on our servers. This data is accessible only to authorized personnel at the law firm through a password-protected attorney portal. Conversation transcripts are not stored.
5. Data security
We implement the following security measures:
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS encryption
- API credentials are stored server-side and never exposed to the browser
- Attorney portals are protected by session-based authentication
- No client data is transmitted to third-party analytics or advertising services
6. Attorney-client privilege
Information shared during an intake session may be subject to attorney-client privilege. CaseReach treats all intake communications as confidential. Our staff do not review individual intake conversations. Access to case data is restricted to the law firm for which the intake was conducted.
7. Data retention
Case data is retained in the attorney portal until the law firm requests deletion or terminates their account. Upon account termination, all associated case data is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.
8. Your rights
If you submitted information through a CaseReach intake form and wish to request deletion or correction of your information, please contact the law firm directly. If you cannot reach the law firm, contact us at the address below and we will assist.
9. Children
Our platform is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
